AI-suggested
An official patch is available and should be applied to affected Linux kernel versions. The vendor advisory confirms multiple Linux kernel security fixes including this issue. Applying the updated kernel versions resolves the vulnerability.
Description
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's mac80211 WiFi subsystem was resolved. The issue involved improper handling of negotiated TTLM maps, where the parser advanced its cursor incorrectly, potentially causing out-of-bounds reads. Although these reads are gated before affecting driver state, under certain test conditions they can trigger slab-out-of-bounds errors. The vulnerability has been patched.
