Technical Analysis

CVE-2026-65102 is an integer overflow or wraparound vulnerability (CWE-190) in NVIDIA DeepStream. An attacker can supply specially crafted tensor dimensions within a YAML configuration file to cause an integer overflow. This may result in denial of service, unauthorized information disclosure, or data tampering. The vulnerability affects DeepStream versions up to and including 0-9.0.1. The CVSS 3.1 base score is 7.8, indicating high severity, with attack vector local, low attack complexity, low privileges required, no user interaction, and impacts on confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

Potential Impact

Successful exploitation can cause denial of service, information disclosure, and data tampering in affected NVIDIA DeepStream installations. The vulnerability impacts confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the system. There are no known exploits in the wild at this time.

Mitigation Recommendations

Patch status is not yet confirmed — check the vendor advisory for current remediation guidance. Until a patch is available, avoid processing untrusted YAML configuration files or tensor dimension inputs in DeepStream. Monitor NVIDIA's official channels for updates and apply official fixes once released.
