Description

pymdown-extensions versions up to and including 11.0 contain inefficient regular expressions in four inline processors that cause catastrophic backtracking. This leads to unbounded CPU usage when rendering certain crafted Markdown input, enabling unauthenticated remote denial of service. The issue is fixed in version 11.0.1.
