What to do

AI-suggested

Users should restrict access to the vulnerable endpoint, implement strict input validation and file type restrictions on uploads, and monitor for suspicious activity.

Description

CVE-2026-71805 is a critical vulnerability in LZ-litchi version 1.0.0 that allows unauthenticated remote attackers to upload arbitrary files and perform path traversal via the directory parameter in the file upload API endpoint. This can lead to arbitrary file write outside the intended storage directory, potentially resulting in full system compromise.
