AI-suggested

A patch is available and should be applied to affected Linux kernel versions. The vendor advisory confirms that this issue has been fixed. Users should update to the fixed kernel versions to resolve the vulnerability.

Description

A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's RISC-V architecture kretprobe implementation caused crashes due to improper handling of the stack pointer (sp) in the rethook trampoline. This flaw was fixed by saving the original sp along with other registers to prevent kernel crashes when reading from the stack in kretprobes.
