A patch is available and should be applied to affected Linux kernel versions. The vendor advisory confirms the issue has been resolved. No additional mitigation actions are specified or required.
Description
A resource leak vulnerability in the Linux kernel's ena network driver was identified and fixed. The issue occurs when XDP TX queues are created before regular TX queues, but if the regular TX queue setup fails, the XDP TX queues are not properly cleaned up, causing a resource leak. This bug was confirmed present in kernel versions up to v7.1-rc7 and was detected by an experimental kernel memory-management analysis tool. No runtime testing was performed due to lack of hardware. A patch is available to address this issue.
