A patch is available and should be applied to affected Linux kernel versions. The vendor advisory confirms the issue is fixed in updated kernel releases. Users should update to the fixed versions to remediate this vulnerability.
Description
A resource leak vulnerability in the Linux kernel's AppArmor subsystem was resolved. The flaw occurred when the function get_current_exe_path() failed to release exe_file and path references properly on path resolution failure, causing resource leaks. This issue has been fixed by ensuring cleanup functions are always called after references are acquired.
