Description

A DOM-based cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in the mountSearchSuggest function of squidfunk mkdocs-material between versions 7.2.0 and 9.7.6. This vulnerability allows execution of arbitrary JavaScript in the context of the documentation site's origin via a crafted 'q' URL parameter after user interaction. The issue is fixed in version 9.7.7.
