Description

Cockpit CMS versions 2.14.0 and earlier contain a command injection vulnerability in the FFmpeg integration. Authenticated users with assets/upload permission can exploit this by uploading a video file with a specially crafted filename containing shell metacharacters. The vulnerability arises because the filename is interpolated into a shell command before sanitization, allowing arbitrary command execution as the web-server user.
