A patch is available and should be applied to affected Linux kernel versions. The vendor advisory confirms that the issue has been fixed. Users should update to the patched kernel versions to remediate this vulnerability.
Description
A NULL pointer dereference vulnerability in the Linux kernel Bluetooth hci_qca driver (qca_setup function) was fixed. The flaw occurs when the hu->serdev pointer is NULL for hci_uart devices attached via non-serdev paths, leading to an unconditional dereference causing a crash. This issue has been patched in affected Linux kernel versions.
