A patch is available and should be applied to affected Linux kernel versions. The vendor advisory confirms that this issue has been fixed. Users should update to the patched kernel versions to mitigate this vulnerability.

Description

A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's ASoC amd acp-sdw-legacy driver was resolved. The issue involved an out-of-bounds read caused by the create_sdw_dailinks() function iterating beyond the allocated soc_dais array when all entries are initialized. This flaw was detected by KASAN and could lead to memory corruption. A patch is available that corrects the iteration bounds by passing the allocated entry count to the function.
