Disable the web administration server when it is not actively being used for device configuration to reduce exposure. Until patched, restricting network access to the web interface is advisable.
Description
CVE-2026-75937 is a critical OS command injection vulnerability in the web administration interface of Digi International's IX Family devices. An unauthenticated attacker can send a specially crafted HTTP POST request to execute arbitrary OS commands with root privileges. The vulnerability affects multiple versions of the IX Family firmware. Disabling the web server when not configuring the device is recommended as a mitigation.
