Published: 10/20/2026 (10/20/2026, 00:46:13 UTC)
Source: CVE Database V5
Vendor/Project: coze-dev
Product: coze-studio

Description

Coze Studio versions up to 0.5.1 contain an insecure direct object reference vulnerability that allows authenticated users to bypass authorization controls. By supplying foreign workflowIDs paired with their own spaceID, attackers can access, modify, run, or delete workflows belonging to other tenants. This affects multiple API routes including save, update_meta, batch_delete, canvas, test_run, and nodeDebug.

Technical Analysis

CVE-2026-77935 is an authorization bypass vulnerability in Coze Studio (coze-dev) through version 0.5.1. The flaw exists in workflow.go, where authenticated users can supply arbitrary workflowIDs from other tenants combined with their own spaceID to perform unauthorized actions on workflows. This enables attackers to read, execute, overwrite, or delete workflows across tenant boundaries via several API endpoints.

Potential Impact

An attacker with valid authentication can access and manipulate workflows belonging to other tenants, potentially leading to unauthorized data disclosure, workflow disruption, and integrity compromise. The vulnerability affects multiple workflow-related operations, increasing the risk of significant impact on multi-tenant environments.

Mitigation Recommendations

No patch or official fix information is provided in the available data. Patch status is not yet confirmed — check the vendor advisory for current remediation guidance. Until a fix is available, restrict access to trusted users and monitor for suspicious activity involving workflow operations.
