Description
The Post and Page Builder by BoldGrid – Visual Drag and Drop Editor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the Table Designer 'data-label' Attribute in all versions up to, and including, 1.27.13 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

Technical Analysis
CVE-2026-78001 is a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in the Post and Page Builder by BoldGrid – Visual Drag and Drop Editor plugin for WordPress. The flaw arises from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping of the 'data-label' attribute in the Table Designer feature. Authenticated attackers with Contributor-level privileges or above can exploit this to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages, which execute when those pages are accessed by users. The vulnerability affects all plugin versions from 0 up to and including 1.27.13.
Potential Impact
Successful exploitation allows an attacker with Contributor-level or higher access to inject malicious scripts that execute in the context of users viewing the compromised pages. This can lead to information disclosure and limited integrity impact. The vulnerability does not affect availability. The CVSS 3.1 base score is 6.4 (medium severity), reflecting network attack vector, low attack complexity, privileges required, no user interaction, and partial confidentiality and integrity impact.
Mitigation Recommendations
No official patch or fix information is provided in the available data. Patch status is not yet confirmed — check the vendor advisory for current remediation guidance. Until a fix is available, restrict Contributor-level access to trusted users only and consider disabling or limiting use of the Table Designer feature to reduce risk.
