Technical Analysis

This vulnerability involves an arbitrary file deletion issue in the /adminapi/file/video_data_save endpoint of CRMEB version 6.0.0. Authenticated attackers can exploit this by sending a specially crafted POST request to delete files outside the intended scope. The CVSS 3.1 base score is 7.2, reflecting network attack vector, low attack complexity, high privileges required, no user interaction, and high impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

Potential Impact

Successful exploitation allows an attacker with authenticated access to delete arbitrary files on the affected system, potentially leading to data loss, service disruption, and compromise of system integrity and confidentiality.

Mitigation Recommendations

Patch status is not yet confirmed — check the vendor advisory for current remediation guidance. Until an official fix is available, restrict access to the affected endpoint to trusted users only and monitor for suspicious activity related to file deletion requests.
