AI-suggested

A fix for this issue has been implemented in the Linux kernel. Users should apply the official kernel updates that address this flaw. No other mitigation steps are indicated.

Description

A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's XFS filesystem was fixed where errors during disk quota (dquot) recovery verification were ignored. Specifically, the function xlog_recover_dquot_commit_pass2() detects corruption but the error is discarded, allowing corrupted quota data to be written back to disk during log recovery.
