AI-suggested

A patch is available and should be applied to affected Linux kernel versions to resolve this issue. The vendor advisory confirms that this vulnerability has been fixed. Users should update to the fixed kernel versions as provided by their Linux distribution.

Description

A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's PCI dwc driver could cause a NULL pointer dereference in the dwc_pcie_rasdes_debugfs_deinit() function when no RAS DES capability is present. This occurs because dwc_pcie_rasdes_debugfs_init() may return success without setting pci->debugfs->rasdes_info, leading to an unconditional dereference during debugfs teardown. The issue has been resolved by adding an early return when no RAS DES state was allocated, preventing the NULL dereference.
