Description
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's IPv6 subsystem could lead to a NULL pointer dereference in the __in6_dev_stats_get() function when dev_get_by_index_rcu() returns NULL due to the original physical device being unregistered. This flaw can cause a denial of service (system crash). Multiple specific Linux kernel versions are affected. A patch is available to address this issue.
