AI-suggested
A fix has been implemented in the Linux kernel to make the UMP message size check more robust. Users should update to the fixed kernel version once available. Patch status is not explicitly confirmed in the provided data; therefore, check the official Linux kernel advisories or repositories for the specific patch and update guidance.
Description
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ASoC: SDCA: Make UMP message size check more robust If message offset was larger than the buffer length the size check will pass incorrectly. Refactor the check such that it is more robust to invalid sizes.
