Description

Really Simple Security plugin for WordPress versions before 9.8.2 has a missing authorization check vulnerability. This flaw allows authenticated users with low privileges to bypass enforced two-factor authentication (2FA) indefinitely by exploiting an unprotected code path in the profile-page update handler. Attackers can submit a specially crafted POST request omitting the two-factor-authentication field to skip nonce verification and reset the 2FA grace period, effectively deferring mandatory 2FA enforcement on every login.
