AI-suggested

Since this is not a cloud service, remediation depends on vendor updates. Users should monitor IBM advisories for patches addressing this vulnerability and apply them promptly once released. Until then, limit access to trusted authenticated users and consider additional input validation or web application firewall rules to mitigate exploitation risk.

Description

IBM Guardium Data Protection version 12.2 contains a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability due to improper neutralization of input during web page generation. This flaw allows a remote authenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code with high impact on confidentiality and integrity, and a low impact on availability.
