Description

CVE-2026-86289 is an integer overflow vulnerability in Ollama versions 0.31.0 and 0.31.1 affecting the GGUF Decoder component. The flaw exists in the readGGUFV1String function of the fs/ggml/gguf.go file. This vulnerability can be exploited remotely and the exploit code has been publicly disclosed. Upgrading to version 0.31.2-rc1 addresses this issue.
