Until a patch is available, avoid processing untrusted JavaScript input on affected versions and 64-bit builds of Espruino 2v29.
Description
Espruino version 2v29 contains a stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability in its JavaScript error stack-trace handling on 64-bit builds. The flaw arises when an 8-byte write is performed through a pointer intended for a 4-byte integer, leading to adjacent stack memory corruption. This vulnerability can be triggered remotely by supplying crafted JavaScript input that causes an exception. The vulnerability has a high severity rating with a CVSS score of 7.5 and impacts availability without affecting confidentiality or integrity.
