Until a fix is available, restrict access to the thumbnail-upload endpoint to trusted users only and consider disabling the upload functionality if possible. Monitor for suspicious activity related to file uploads and web shell execution.
Description
WuzhiCMS 5.0.0 contains a vulnerability in its thumbnail-upload endpoint that allows an authenticated low-privileged user to upload a malicious PHP file. The system does not validate or restrict file extensions, storing the uploaded file with the client-supplied extension in a web-accessible directory. This enables arbitrary PHP code execution on the server.
