AI-suggested

Users should upgrade projen to version 0.101.37 or later. The fix includes a corrected containment check that prevents relative path traversal during the cleanup of the generated file manifest. This fix is automatically applied by the projen runtime upon next execution. No additional action is required beyond upgrading.

Description

CVE-2026-89065 is a relative path traversal vulnerability in AWS projen versions before 0.101.37. It affects the generated file manifest cleanup component, allowing attackers to recursively delete files and directories outside the project directory if those files are writable by the environment running projen. The issue is fixed in version 0.101.37 by applying a corrected containment check during project synthesis.
