A fix for this vulnerability has been implemented in the Linux kernel. Users should apply the updated kernel versions that include the corrected TLB invalidation handling. Since this is a kernel-level issue, upgrading to a patched kernel release is the recommended remediation. No additional mitigations are indicated.
Description
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's KVM on arm64 platforms related to incorrect handling of TLB invalidation at the end of the virtual address space has been resolved. The issue was due to improper comparison logic that did not account for address rollover, causing failed TLB invalidations. This flaw has been corrected by revising the comparison method to be immune to address rollover and consolidating the logic into a common helper function.
