A fix is available that corrects the error handling in the affected function. Users should apply the official patches or updates provided for the affected Linux kernel versions to remediate this vulnerability.
Description
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's ASoC loongson driver was fixed by correcting error handling in ACPI property parsing. The issue involved ignoring the return value of device_property_read_string() for the 'codec-dai-name' property, which could lead to use of an uninitialized pointer and undefined behavior. This flaw has been resolved by properly checking the return value and propagating errors.
