The vulnerability has been resolved in the Linux kernel. Users should apply the official kernel updates that fix this issue. Since the vendor advisory or patch links are not provided, check the Linux kernel or distribution vendor advisories for the specific fixed versions and update accordingly.

Description

A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's amdxdna driver allows a zero-length flush SYNC_BO request to cause a kernel page fault. This occurs because the flush operation does not properly constrain the size, leading to an access in a guard page below the vmalloc area and resulting in a kernel oops. Any process with access to the render node can trigger this fault by issuing a SYNC_BO call with size zero on an AMDXDNA_BO_SHARE object. This issue has been reproduced reliably on specific hardware.
