Users should upgrade to these fixed versions to remediate the vulnerability. No additional mitigation steps are indicated beyond applying the official patch.

Description

CVE-2026-90289 is a high-severity vulnerability in the Linux kernel's AMD GPU display driver. It involves an off-by-one error in the handling of Multi-Stream Transport (MST) HDCP per-connector arrays, where the maximum number of connectors was incorrectly sized to 31 instead of 32. This mismatch could lead to memory corruption or other impacts related to connector handling. The issue has been fixed by resizing the arrays to 32 and renaming the constant to better reflect its purpose.
