A fix has been implemented in the Linux kernel to address this issue. Users should update to the patched versions listed to ensure the vulnerability is resolved.
Description
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel ARM breakpoint handling was resolved by removing the stub hw_breakpoint_cfi_handler(), ensuring that ARM_ENTRY_CFI_BREAKPOINT type breakpoints are only stolen when Control Flow Integrity (CFI) is actively used. This prevents unintended interception of breakpoints when CFI is not in use or when breakpoints are issued in userspace.
