AI-suggested

A fix is available that switches the controller allocation to devm_spi_alloc_host(), ensuring proper managed resource release order. Users should update to the patched Linux kernel version containing this fix. No additional mitigation is required beyond applying the official patch.

Description

A use-after-free vulnerability in the Linux kernel's spi oc-tiny driver was addressed by switching to managed controller allocation. The issue arises because the controller is allocated non-managed while the interrupt is registered with a managed request. During device removal, an interrupt handler can access freed memory, leading to potential memory corruption.
