Users should upgrade to a fixed version once available or apply vendor-provided mitigations if announced. Until then, restrict access to affected fields and monitor for suspicious activity.
Description
Gravity Forms plugin for WordPress versions up to 3.1.1 is vulnerable to stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in certain fields. This vulnerability allows unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary scripts that execute when users access affected pages. The issue arises because certain fields allow raw HTML submissions and an entity-encoded payload bypasses sanitization, later decoded into executable markup by the browser.
