Source: CVE Database V5
Product: Robokassa payment gateway for Woocommerce

Description

The Robokassa payment gateway plugin for WooCommerce versions before 1.9.0 does not verify the authenticity of incoming payment notification requests. This allows unauthenticated attackers to mark any WooCommerce order as failed by sending crafted requests referencing sequential order identifiers. This vulnerability affects order fulfillment by enabling attackers to disrupt the processing queue.

Technical Analysis

CVE-2026-91076 is a missing authorization vulnerability (CWE-862) in the Robokassa payment gateway plugin for WooCommerce prior to version 1.9.0. The plugin fails to authenticate incoming payment-notification requests before acting on the referenced order. Because order IDs are sequential, an attacker can systematically target and force any order into a failed state, disrupting order fulfillment.

Potential Impact

An attacker can unauthenticatedly cause any WooCommerce order to be marked as failed, potentially disrupting order processing and fulfillment. This can lead to denial of service on order handling but does not directly imply data disclosure or code execution.

Mitigation Recommendations

Upgrade the Robokassa payment gateway plugin to version 1.9.0 or later, where this authorization check issue is presumably fixed. Patch status is not explicitly stated but the affected versions are prior to 1.9.0, indicating that 1.9.0 is the fixed version.
