Description

Halo versions up to and including 2.26.1 have an open redirect vulnerability in the anonymous thumbnail endpoint. The vulnerability arises because the uri query parameter is not properly validated, allowing attackers to craft malicious links on the trusted Halo domain that redirect users to arbitrary external sites. This can facilitate phishing attacks and abuse of redirect-based trust relationships.
