Description
CVE-2026-92511 is a use-after-free vulnerability in the Linux kernel's RDMA core subsystem, specifically in the ib_destroy_cq_user() function. The flaw arises because the synchronization mechanism for Completion Queues (CQ) accessed via netlink is delayed, allowing a short window where freed CQ resources remain accessible. This vulnerability has been fixed by reordering the removal of CQ tracking to occur before resource release, ensuring consistent lifecycle management.
