Description
CVE-2026-93039 is a high-severity vulnerability in the Linux kernel's ASoC meson driver. It involves improper handling of memory reallocations in meson_card_reallocate_links(), which can lead to use-after-free and double free conditions during error handling. This occurs when the first krealloc() call moves data successfully but the second fails, leaving pointers referencing freed memory. The issue has been fixed by updating pointers immediately after the first successful krealloc() to ensure they always reference valid memory, preventing unsafe dereferences.
