A fix is available and has been applied in the Linux kernel source code as indicated by multiple commit hashes. Users and administrators should update to a Linux kernel version that includes these fixes. No additional mitigation actions are specified or required beyond applying the official patch.
Description
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's RDMA hfi1 driver causes a resource leak when device initialization fails late in the probe process. Specifically, RX data allocated during initialization is not freed if certain later initialization steps fail, leading to memory leaks.
