Description
CVE-2026-93103 is a vulnerability in the Linux kernel's RDMA/hfi1 subsystem where improper handling of allocation failure can lead to incorrect cleanup of device data. Specifically, if the allocation function xa_alloc_irq() fails, the unit remains zero, causing the cleanup function hfi1_free_devdata() to mistakenly remove an unrelated device at index 0. This issue has been resolved by ensuring that the rdmavt allocation is released and the function returns immediately if the unit table has not acquired the device.
