Description
A use-after-free (UAF) vulnerability in the Linux kernel's USB subsystem was fixed. The issue occurred when a probe operation ran concurrently with dynamic ID removal, potentially accessing freed memory. The fix involves copying dynamic IDs during probe operations to prevent access to invalid memory. USB serial is not affected as its IDs cannot be removed via sysfs.
