Description
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's platform/x86 lg-laptop driver related to LED resource handling has been fixed. The issue involved the event notification callback potentially accessing the keyboard backlight LED device even if it was not successfully registered. Additionally, LED devices were unconditionally unregistered during device removal, which could lead to improper resource handling. The fix involves tracking the availability of the keyboard backlight LED device and using devm_led_classdev_register() to ensure proper automatic unregistration during removal.
