Description
CVE-2026-93138 is a high-severity vulnerability in the Linux kernel affecting version 5.5. It involves a race condition in the bpf_get_btf_vmlinux function related to the lazy parsing and publishing of the vmlinux BTF data structure. The issue arises from improper memory ordering on weakly ordered architectures, potentially allowing concurrent callers to observe incomplete or inconsistent data. This flaw has been fixed in several subsequent commits.
