AI-suggested

This vulnerability has been fixed in Linux kernel versions 5.2, 5.3, and related commits. Users should upgrade to these fixed versions or later to remediate the issue.

Description

A vulnerability in the Linux kernel signal handling mechanism allowed shared siginfo structures to be rewritten across processes, causing one recipient of a group signal to affect another. This issue was fixed by copying the siginfo before modification to prevent namespace rewrites.
