Description
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's octeontx2-af driver caused an out-of-bounds read when setting MSI-X interrupt affinity. The issue arises because the irq_name buffer for MSI-X vectors may be uninitialized, leading strstr() to read beyond the buffer boundary. This flaw was fixed by replacing strstr() with strnstr() to limit the search within the buffer size.
