Description

CVE-2026-93250 is a use-after-free vulnerability in the Linux kernel's VXLAN multicast database (mdb) handling, specifically in the vxlan_mdb_flush() function. The flaw arises because the function iterates over multicast database entries using a method that only safely tolerates removal of the current entry, but flushing remotes can remove other entries unexpectedly. This leads to a use-after-free condition and potential kernel memory corruption. The vulnerability has been fixed by adjusting the iteration logic to re-read the next entry after flushing remotes, preventing access to freed memory.
