AI-suggested

Users should monitor the vendor's advisory channels for updates. Until a fix is available, consider disabling or restricting access to the vulnerable plugin functionality. Because the nonce protection is ineffective, relying on it for access control is insufficient. Implementing additional access controls or input validation at the web server or application firewall level may help mitigate exploitation risk.

Description

The SendPress Newsletters plugin for WordPress contains a time-based SQL Injection vulnerability in the 'subscriberid' parameter affecting all versions up to 1.26.1.20. This flaw allows unauthenticated attackers to inject additional SQL queries due to insufficient input escaping and ineffective nonce protection. The nonce uses a hardcoded action value that is publicly accessible, enabling attackers to bypass access controls and potentially extract sensitive database information.
