Technical Analysis

CVE-2026-94541 is an authorization bypass vulnerability (CWE-862) in the WPMobile.App – Android and iOS App Builder plugin for WordPress. The plugin fails to properly verify user authorization, enabling unauthenticated attackers to exfiltrate password-reset URLs mirrored into the push queue by the mail-to-push feature (wpmobile_auto_mail=1). These URLs include reset keys that can be used to take over targeted user accounts, including administrators. The vulnerability affects all plugin versions up to and including 11.82.

Potential Impact

Successful exploitation allows unauthenticated attackers to obtain password-reset URLs for any user, including administrators, leading to full account takeover. This compromises confidentiality, integrity, and availability of affected WordPress sites using the vulnerable plugin with the mail-to-push feature enabled.

Mitigation Recommendations

No official patch or fix is currently provided. Users should disable the mail-to-push feature (wpmobile_auto_mail=1) to prevent outbound password-reset emails from being mirrored into the push queue, thereby mitigating the vulnerability until an official fix is released. Monitor the vendor advisory for updates.
