AI-suggested

Upgrade FileGator to version 7.15.0 or later, where this vulnerability is fixed. No other mitigation is indicated or required as the fix addresses the authorization check flaw directly.

Description

FileGator versions prior to 7.15.0 contain a vulnerability in the batch download functionality that allows an authenticated user with read, download, and batchdownload permissions to access another user's temporary batch archive by using the archive's unique identifier. This occurs because the system does not verify that the requesting session created the archive. Exploitation is limited by the need to obtain a valid archive ID and the archive's limited lifetime. The issue is fixed in version 7.15.0.
