AI-suggested
A fix has been implemented that validates connectionless frame payload length before reading the PSM. Users should apply the official Linux kernel updates that include this patch to mitigate the vulnerability. No additional mitigation steps are indicated by the vendor advisory.
Description
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's Bluetooth L2CAP implementation allows malformed connectionless frames with insufficient payload length to cause out-of-bounds reads when parsing the Protocol/Service Multiplexer (PSM) field. This issue has been resolved by validating the payload length before reading the PSM, ensuring only structurally complete packets are processed.
