AI-suggested

A fix for this vulnerability is available and has been applied to the affected Linux kernel versions. Users should update to the patched kernel versions to remediate this issue. No additional mitigation steps are indicated by the vendor advisory.

Description

A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's ASoC mediatek mt8365-afe-pcm driver could cause a NULL pointer dereference due to missing allocation failure checks in the mt8365_afe_suspend() function. This issue has been fixed by adding the necessary NULL check and proper error handling to prevent the kernel from accessing invalid memory during suspend operations.
