Description
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's AFS filesystem code involving a double unmap of a directory block has been fixed. The issue was due to improper manual unmapping in afs_edit_dir_remove(), which could cause a double kunmap if afs_dir_find_block() was called twice consecutively. This flaw has been addressed by using a cleanup function to safely unmap the block pointer. The fix is included in specific Linux kernel commits.
